An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away

Anyone who is a creator on any media platform, be it social media, podcasting, tutorials, documentaries, or full length feature films, you are most likely using an Apple Mac.

Right now, as I place this note into my Substack, I’m using Sequoia 15.7.7

I’ve got an older M1 MacBook Pro, an entry level model running the latest version of Tahoe. Now, if you are like me, it’s not just the hardware, it is the software.

I love Substack because I understand the “interface,” and the “platform.” Just like Substack, I understand Sequoia really well.

I’d love to be on an M5 Mac and right now I’m on an M3 MacBook Air because I want Apple to fix their operating system.

My iPhone 16 Pro Max is currently running iOS 26.6

Hopefully, fingers crossed Apple will fix the iOS in version 27.0

Here is my prediction: Everyone will absolutely love 27.01, yeah, never get the release, wait for the first “fix,” and then everyone will say, “Why didn’t they do this in Tahoe?”

Afterwards? Apple will do what it always does; it will think that its user base will want more changes and then start “mucking” with the interface!

Apple Is Getting A.i. Right!

Apple’s strategy in 2026 is absolutely brilliant. What is it? Well, it is this: You can turn off Siri and Turn Off A.i. and this is beautiful!

The Dark Side Of Apple

The one item that no one talks about is that there are too many additional prompts used for both Tahoe and for the iOS. What happened? Well, someone drank way too much Coffee Expresso’s in marketing, so I’d leave it alone. The next version will be out soon.

A New Mac

Apple has a bunch of new Mac’s coming out and if you can wait and buy it with Golden Gate pre-installed, you will be super happy.

Okay, that’s my pontification on a Monday morning here in Southern California. Hey, if the big one doesn’t hit Southern California, I’ll be back at the keyboard tomorrow with more insights.

Make it a great day!

The M1 MacBook Air Is Your Next Laptop

8GB RAM, 256GB Hard Drive, 2, USB-C Ports

If you read my post from yesterday and you have happily installed “Quiet Reader” on your Mac, I congratulate you for enjoying a cleaner looking “screen” to read a plethora of news articles and other “go to” websites that you look at every day.

You know you do!

Now let’s get on to today’s topic.

From my point of view the soul of Steve Jobs lives in Apple’s M1 MacBook Air.

I’ve owned 2 of them.

The first one was literally on for 16 hours a day.

It’s the original shape of the MacAir Laptop produced back in the day.

It was Steve Jobs “One More Thing” Moment!

The big shift when Apple shifted to the M1 chip was, no Fan!

If you are in America and you walk into Best Buy right now, you can pick up this original M1 Mac book air for only $749 Dollars (USD). You can always invest another $99 to 149 dollars and pick up an external 1TB or 2TB drive and plug it into the USB-C port and you are good to go.

As many of us have pontificated over the years, Apple charges way too much money for expanded storage and ram. (I know, some of you got the M2 MacBook Air because Apple brought back “Mag safe.”

This is what Marques Brownlee with 18+ Million Subscribers on YouTube had to say about the M1 MacBook Air in 2024.

Seize the day!
